Hi, my name is Daniel Dwire. I'm set to graduate from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh later this fall with a Bachelor of Science in Game Art and Design. Before that, I recieved an Associate of the Arts in General Studies from Anne Arundel Community College. I possess a wide range of skills relevant to game design and I'm proficient with many of the top software suites, like 3dsMax, Maya, Zbrush, and the Adobe CS Suite. I also have experience with using popular real-time editors such as the Unreal 3 Editor and Valve's Hammer Editor.
I also like to play games. I'm often found playing online shooters like Team Fortress 2. Lately, because free time comes at a premium, I've been drawn to some lighter games like Castle Crashers and my current favorite: Cave Story.
This website is a showcase of my professional work and personal projects. The 3d Artwork section showcases my high-poly and low-poly work. The Projects page is for small, personal game projects I'm working on, game levels, or anything else that doesn't quite fit in the artwork section. There is a tutorials section designed to help fellow game designers solve a number different problems.
